A New Book by Jon Dwoskin & David Chernow

Stop living on autopilot. Start living on purpose.

You plan everything except your life. This book gives you a plan for building a clear map of what matters most.

Life Plan Book
“Nobody decides to live on autopilot. It just happens to capable people who never had a system for planning the one thing that matters most.”

FROM THE INTRODUCTION

the gap

You plan everything.
Except your life.

You have a financial plan. A workout plan. A diet plan. A retirement plan. You plan everything except your life.

Nobody ever handed you a plan for the one thing that matters most. This book does.

This isn't self-help. It's self-growth.

Most people react.
We plan.

The Life Plan is how you take back the controls without overhauling everything at once.

Who It's For

Successful? Busy? Capable? Quietly off course?

Most readers see themselves in one of these:

The Executive

You got the promotion you worked years for and woke up the next morning wondering what to chase now.

“Is this it?”

The Empty Nester

The role that gave your life shape for two decades is ending. You are proud of the parenting, but a little lost.

“Who am I now?”

Between Chapters

You sold the company, left the long-tenured role, or retired early. You have time, resources, and a real question.

“What now?”

The High Performer

You can build a strategic plan for a business worth millions. You have just never built one for the life running it.

“Why not me?”
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”

Five Anchors. Three Dimensions. One Life Plan.

ANCHORS

DIMENSIONS

LIFE PLAN

5 Anchors that set your direction. 3 Dimensions of your life that show how that direction is being lived. 1 Life Plan that brings it all together.

Most people have never written down one line of it.
The book is where you do.

You came in on autopilot. You leave with a plan.

What Readers Are Saying.

Jim N.

It's absolutely fantastic; well written, with truth bombs all over.

The right person could change their life all on their own with this tool.

Two or three people doing it together would be even better, or a group led by a guide, or one-on-one with a coach.

Ben T.

We become what we repeatedly do, so it's worth being deliberate about which habits we're building. This book gets that.

What I love most is how simple it is: no jargon, no overcomplicated steps, just something genuinely easy to work through.

“Clarity precedes success.”

SPEAKING

Bring the Life Plan to your stage.

The Life Plan keynote is for capable, successful people who are quietly aware that the life they are living is not exactly the one they meant to build.

Everyone has a plan for next quarter. Most have a plan for next year. Almost none have a plan for what drives all of it.

Jon and David give audiences that plan, and send them home with a first draft of it.

Conferences & keynotes. The autopilot problem, the Five Anchors, and the One Life Plan, in one clear presentation.

Executive teams & offsites. The same rigor your leaders bring to the business, focused on the life running it.

Associations & communities. A talk that leaves every person with a direction, not just a feeling.

Inquire about speaking.

Tell us the audience, the date, and what you want them to walk out with. We will get back to you.

FAQ

Is this a book to read, or a workbook to fill in?

Both. You read it once, cover to cover, the way you'd read any book. Then you use it. By the end you'll have written your own Life Plan, and you'll return to it for years.

How long does it take?

You can draft your first Life Plan in about ninety minutes of honest reflection. The point isn't speed. The point is that you finally do it, and then keep it current with a few minutes each week.

Is this self-help?

No. It's self-growth. Self-help gives you tactics. The Life Plan gives you the plan those tactics are supposed to serve. Goals without anchors are just items on a list.

Is it religious or tied to any belief system?

No. The framework is structurally non-religious and works in any life, any season, any set of beliefs.

Do I need to have it all figured out first?

You don't need a perfect life. You need a direction. You are not behind, and you are not broken. You are simply starting from an honest place.
